Arab News:The Brits The Tabloids The McCanns

.
In truth I only started to take an interest in this story after the McCanns were declared arguidos. (suspects)

I have in the past posted a couple of articles on the subject only to find the blog has been inundated with visitors following this particular story, it's very similar to the current cause celebre Dog Chapman. If a blogger wants thousands of hits then all they have to do is run with a sensational headline, but that's not what it's really about, well not for me.

All that said I'm running with this article from the Arab News and I do have to admit they ain't a million miles away.
Incidentally I have a daily read of the comments section of the the "Madeleine" post at the Anorak because without a doubt there is something very very moody about this story, not least the behaviour of the the McCanns.

This is of course a phenomenon that is sweeping the globe but it is especially highly developed in Britain, a postindustrial country that has for some years boasted more actors than it does coal miners. It is perhaps no accident that the most successful British leader of recent times, the former Prime Minister Tony Blair, is a virtuoso performer, less a real politician than a showman with a special talent for impersonating a politician.

It might be uncharitably suggested that the McCanns, dining out in Portugal every night with their friends, were more concerned with playing the part of parents than with actually looking after their children, and that in this sense they are indeed the authors of their own misfortune.more

Unfortunately, an account, though meaningless, also gives the so called "pro's" a tool in their "fight" that has nothing to do with justice, only pastime, no lack of examples. Nothing wrong with their pastime as far as I'm not the toy. Among other things, a reason. Alas, it is not just a "pro" thing, e.g. (37) bit.ly/hy7EBF, an empty threat I know, understandable but telling. And, one only has to look to other forums, it gets worse. Pity, but such is life I guess. Lord of the flies comes to mind.
In my opinion, you're one of those few bloggers who do not interfere in other blogs for that matter, only positive contributions.

End story, two dogs fight for a bone, and a third runs away with it?

What a little bunch of charmers, I don't know which thought was first, get a life or circle jerk.

An evil little circle, all sat round wanking off, and each and every one coming buckets of venom.

My! that's a bit colourful for first thing in the morning.

Sad little fuckers who need to get themselves a life.

I don't think there's any place in this case for people to want their egos stroked.

Ah yes! another one that's wired slightly different.

Or short circuits on vin rouge, I'm not sure which, perhaps a bit of both.

Good evening dear heart, I'm just back from delivering bird tables.

You've been following I see. Something is wrong somewhere, as you have noticed, it's not his language is it?

The previous DM was virtually a taunt, which for all his delusions, is so out of character.

I think I might download a password generator tomorrow, they really produce some whacky PWs and go through all my online stuff and change everything. Because quite honestly, quite a lot of stuff is weak.

I do use LastPass, an open source PW manager, it remembers everything and logs you in to whatever, so it's not as though I have to remember all the PWs.

I'm away out on thursday to buy various goodies, it's a fair trek from here, but I ain't had a run out in a long time.

I'm going to leave you two links just out of interest, let me know when you have picked them up and I will delete.

Mornin' Chuck, sounds like something off Faux News.

Somehow I don't think that quite describes the reality of the situation.

Good morning Maren.

I'm just up, but thought I better go through the mails, my geek is arriving shortly to reinstall Office.

Firstly, thank you, I hadn't seen that request.

Coldwater, if I remember rightly, was a fifth columnist. If I remember rightly.

Are you saying that's him at the link?

Good evening H

At that time I did read some 3A posts without understanding all the hassle later on. I hardly knew what a forum was. Well, I have catched up now, if only for all that hassle. There's a list with names and nicks (Jatyk's pleasure). Coldwater matches http://bit.ly/1fMUjip

I don't know anything about the man and I cannot estimate if he likes to be remembered. It's info only; you can make a better assessment. Please remove comments if inappropriate, for your blog and for my sake. Smiley with asterisk.

Sleep well m'dear. M

Given his twitter TL I don't think he is a fifth columnist.

Given his twitter TL I don't think he is either.

Good morning Chuck, email at last. We updated to Office 2007, but it was quite a job getting all the email adddies to function. (5hrs)

Now I suppose I shall look at your video links, who knows I might screen shot the discrepancies.

But will I blog them?

Let us see.

Mr Mitchell last night said he did not know if Kate changed her clothes and added: "If she did, so what?" He said: "It is no big deal that Mr Kennedy met the police.

"He is interested in all - aspects of the investigation. He is a very hands-on person."

She’s right.

An English woman married to a Dutchman, a reconstituted family. It is hard to make sense of all the stories online from and about her and her brother.

For sure, there are undesirable excesses on the McCann case. Just one of those vague but inevitable side paths, I guess.

Anyway, she does Jesus and a lot of pets. Well, what can I say.

Good morning H

Steven Carpenter - child (his daughter) carrying holidaymaker May 3, 2007. [An innocent British father or the innocent British father, transformed into “Crèche dad” by SY, because a direction is irrelevant to SY’s investigation; an investigation on the basis of “Neither her parents or any of the members of the group that were with her are either persons of interest or suspects”] ?

Carolyn Carpenter – Steve’s wife, holidaymaker May 3, 2007, vaguely remembering someone calling "Madeleine, Madeleine” after they had crossed the road from the MW reception and before entering their apartment, approximately a quarter past nine and half past nine. http://www.mccannpjfiles.co.uk/PJ/STEPHEN-CARPENTER.htm

Patricia Cameron – Gerry’s sister

Alan Pike – McCanns’ crisis counsellor

Janet Kennedy – Kate’s aunt

Karen McCalman – Campaign Coordinator Madeleine’s Fund March 2009 – August 2012 https://uk.linkedin.com/pub/karen-mccalman/15/3a9/801

Dr. Phil Hussey – McCanns’ former GP

Dr. Ian Schofield – McCanns’ GP

Altogether, an interesting list of names. The Carpenters amongst the McCanns’ family and acquaintances.

Pure coincidence of course.

Good day H

If you are going to get it wrong, don't get it wrong with a lawyer.

I read his timeline a couple of days ago. His stuff on the polygraph seemed interesting and "insider" informed.

Then again, it could be all BS?

And yes, quite possibly the same. I wonder when he morphed into a journo?

Some strange people on the interweb Maren. I had a new "fan" his name escapes at the moment, but a guy who has a thing going with Williams-Thomas.

I got a DM from him disclosing WT's personal cell phone number.

I say I had a fan, past tense, because I fucked him off over it. What do I want with WT's goddamned phone number?

Mamas this afternoon.

Anonymous said...

Hi H. Some strange people indeed, although there are some notable exceptions of course. And yes that dubious WT man, both WT himself and his pursuer, a personal vendetta perhaps.

Concerning "the six corpses", September 2007 there was (and still is) an article in Spanish weekly “News” magazine Interviu. Sounds reasonable nonetheless.
