
Daniel Sawyer really wanted to be a lawman.
Sawyer, charged with impersonating a police officer among other crimes, was arrested Wednesday morning in Cherokee County while taking the entrance examination to be a sheriff's deputy.
The Douglasville man was arrested on outstanding warrants for kidnapping, false imprisonment, battery and impersonating a police officer, said Sgt. Jay Baker of the Cherokee Sheriff's Office. more
