Tainted Evidence: Canada Tosses CIA Waterboarded Testimony

I should think so too, lets face it you'd swear your mother was born in a brothel and your granny came from Mars if that's what your torturers wanted to hear.

And what about this fellow on the right, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, "confessed" to being involved in THIRTY plots, it was to be thirty one but even the Pentagon thought a cough for the Kennedy killing might be a bit of a stretch.

How embarrassing does it get, a world superpower torturing toerags like this because the Bush regime is so fucking inept this is the only way it can be SEEN to be getting results.

That said there has been a lot more in the news lately to just what extent the Brits have facilitated the CIA in allowing rendition flights air space and landing facilities in the UK, and I'm not talking dozens of times but hundreds.
I shall try and put something together on this when time allows.

The Canadian government is no longer using evidence gained from CIA interrogations of a top Al Qaeda detainee who was waterboarded.

According to documents obtained by NEWSWEEK, the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS), the country's national-security agency, last month quietly withdrew statements by alleged Al Qaeda leader Abu Zubaydah from public papers outlining the case against two alleged terror "sleeper" operatives in Ottawa and Montreal.

The move, which so far has received no public attention, is the latest sign of potential international fallout from the CIA's recent confirmation that it waterboarded a handful of high-profile Al Qaeda suspects in 2002 and 2003.more

Yes, the power of the sea.

Nice photo, despite the misery.
