Sign Or Else

How would you like to find yourself in this unenviable situation?

You don't have to be a professor of history and economics to know just what happens to civil rights when there is a downturn in the economy, couple that with a government that sets the bar on collecting citizen's private data and this is where you end up.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools created an uproar among its 18,000-plus employees Tuesday by abruptly requiring them to sign forms authorizing credit checks and research into their "character, general reputation, personal characteristics and mode of living."

Those who don't sign by Friday face termination, according to memos signed by Chief Human Resources Officer Maurice Ambler.

Ambler said Tuesday that CMS plans to check only criminal records, despite the more extensive authorization required by the forms.more

Because we have so many teachers we can spare those who live different than the upright white christian community. Another instance of institutionalized idiocy.
