I receive a daily email from the Information Clearing House, an excellent source of under-reported news items.
ICH has a body counter for US troops which presently reads 3,921, I am aware this number is the Pentagon account of things, as you and I know the deaths off the battlefield or subsequent suicides are not included in the figure.
It was noticing this last few days that the figure was heading for the for thousand mark that reminded me of the freeway blogger's campaign 2K Why.(different links)
It hardly seems five minutes ago that Freeway was asking why? The answer then as now, for nothing.
