Maybe they should ask the Brits how good of an idea it is to let the Murdoch family own anything.

LONDON — A damning report on the hacking scandal at Rupert Murdoch’s British newspapers concluding that Mr. Murdoch is “not a fit person” to run a huge international company has convulsed Britain’s political and media worlds and threatened a core asset of Mr. Murdoch’s American-based News Corporation.
Do you not think the NYT have taken the “not a fit person” somewhat out of context, or at the very least re-hashed the original ruling over the BSkyB bid?
Not that I'm arguing the point in the least.
I did notice somewhere that Louise Mensch, who was one of four on the committee who saved Murdoch's bacon, has, as predicted, taken up employment with News Corp in the US.
