One of the demoralizing things about Tony Blair is that he has never shown any pugnacity towards Bush at all. "Fawnng" is the word that springs to mind. Or "creepy". Or "smarmy, slimey, wormlike, crawling, spineless, unprincipled"........Jane Smiley.
