The Wages Of Sin Shall Be Rectrumpence

The Catholic Church in Los Angeles has reached a financial deal with more than 500 people alleging sexual abuse by priests, the plaintiffs' lawyer says.

The deal, said to be for $660m (£324m), has yet to be approved by a judge.

It would be the biggest compensation payment the Church has made since the sexual abuse scandal erupted in 2002. more

Shall we now hear from the nasty Nazi on the One True Church?

Yesterday's document said that such dialogue remained "one of the priorities of the Catholic Church".

I think the priorities of the Catholic Church are quite well enough established.

Came a scream that could be heard for miles.
Said the vicar, "Good Gracious!
Seems Father Ignatius,
Has forgotten the Bishop has piles."
