Chernobyl One Million Dead. Fukushima? Video

Professor Christopher Busby, of the European Committee on Radiation Risks speaks very confidently on the issues facing Japan, and if I understand him correctly he is saying the north of Japan is finished, become effectively, an exclusion zone.

Anybody want to concur or disagree?

Same interviewer, different head, sometime later on.

Just another talking head talking bollocks in my opinion.

The reactor itself exploded at Chernobyl, effectively ending fission, thus allowing the thing to be encased in concrete.

They don't have that option at Fukushima. As I understand the situation, nuclear fission has to cease before the site can be encased.

How that will be achieved I haven't a clue, and neither have TEPCO either, if the last three weeks are anything to go by.
