I haven't A great deal of time for Ahmadinejad to put it mildly, so maybe I will have to have a Olberman/Geraldo moment, the bit where Olberman declares Geraldo, for the first and last time, "Best person in the world."
Well I'm not going to award Ahmadinejad "Best person," but I have to admit he looks pretty cool and sounds more than eloquent as he uses Bush's "Christianity" to gently take the piss out the Shrub and then moves on calmly to bring up a few home truths. How different he is from the whining bitch boy, I almost have to admire the little git.
And who are these Christians that hate America? I know not, but they seem like good contenders for the fast track to Gitmo.
The following are excerpts from coverage of a recent delegation of Christian leaders from the U.S. that visited Iran in February 2007. The footage of the meeting aired on Iranian Channel 1 on March 29, 2007.
Ahmadinejad: "Let's assume that Jesus were the president of America now-"
Translator: "Let's assume for the time being that Jesus Christ peace be upon him was the President of the U.S."
Ahmadinejad: "Life would be so beautiful."
Translator: "Life would have been beautiful"
Ahmadinejad: "The world would be full of peace."
Translator: "The world would have been full of peace."
Ahmadinejad: "All human beings would love one another."
