Hear, hear, hear! that is exactly what I thought too, it is what everybody thought except the elites and establishment types who are now furiously peddling the line "things were different back then", not counting on the fact that not all ordinary people from the time have entirely lost their memories.

in the 1970s I worked in engineering, in a working class environment, while I appreciate I and my fellows lacked the education of the opinion formers of the day, we had the ability to see PIE for what it was, and found it vile. I, certainly misjudged NCCL, I thought they were just a ragtag of assorted fucktards, I now realise they were knowingly laying down the foundations for future successful careers, which is why I suspect they do not feel over keen on being questioned about that period.

Brittan was not yet Home Secretary at the time of the Elm Guest House raid, but it is worth noting that he had already served as a Minister of State at the Home Office from May 1979 to January 1981.
The information is indeed hearsay for now, but that is why it is so important that both the senior Met officer (and the other colleagues) and Solanki are interviewed by the HASC and also the inquiry – especially urgent in the case of Solanki as he is old.

Greville Janner was interviewed by Leicestershire Police in 1991. The CPS decided not to prosecute Janner. Police should have handed over a file on Janner following a second investigation in 2002, and the CPS should have charged him following a third investigation in 2007.
The latest investigation by Leicestershire Police, launched in 2013, had identified 25 possible victims, and amassed enough evidence to charge Lord Janner with 22 sex offences dating between 1969 and 1988 involving nine children and young people.
Great. What about the impact the decision not to prosecute him will have on those people, and the message this decision sends out to others who have suffered and are suffering sexual abuse.

Like more people than we realise, Edward Heath just wasn't interested in sex. The British Establishment had a few bad people who abused children and got away with it. There weren't many. Just because you're a dead Conservative politician doesn't mean you're a paedophile. Ted Heath is innocent. Get over it.
