No Extension For Detention Without Charge

A cross-party committee of MPs and peers has opposed government plans to detain terror suspects without charge beyond 28 days.

A report by the Joint Committee on Human Rights (JCHR) concludes that there is not enough evidence to justify extending the detention time.
