Is This Turning Into a Circus?

Whereas I have every sympathy for the parents and share the public's concern for the safety of Madeleine McCann, I cannot help but wonder about certain aspects and motives in this ongoing tragedy.
And now the parents are flying off for an audience with the Pope.

The couple are expected to head for Italy on Tuesday on a private plane provided by a well-wisher before their meeting with Pope Benedict XVI .

In another clip, the McCanns are asked how often they think of their daughter, who went missing when she was three years old on May 3, 2007 from a holiday apartment as her parents dined at a nearby tapas restaurant with friends.

Mr McCann says: "When it's a special occasion, when you should be your happiest and Madeleine's not there, that's when it really hits home. Obviously, Madeleine's birthday goes without saying."

Mrs McCann adds: "It's when you have big family occasions really. That's it isn't it? 'Family occasion' and you haven't got your complete family."

    really

So scary these statements. They don’t even have to lie and many people eat this stuff up. The spiritual destitution of our society. It's all about "appearances". The Kate McCann 'what are my parents going to think?' thing. http://www.mccannpjfiles.co.uk/PJ/SERVICE_INFORMATION.htm

It doesn’t even cross their mind to say: "every morning when I wake up", "every night before I go to sleep". Well, what else can you expect of a woman who flirts with suicide and her wider agenda man.

    Terrifying emptiness but "bulletproof". Sadly.

This could be the man that took Madeleine, but very importantly there could be an innocent explanation. The E-fits are clear and I’d ask the public to look very carefully at them and if they know who this person is please come forward.

    At the 22:00 mark:

...so it’s really important this evening to say to the public that if you recognise yourself [watch Redwood’s facial expression] then please have the courage to come forward, because it’s really important for us to eliminate any sightings that are innocent and nothing to do with Madeleine’s disappearance.

Nothing to do with Madeleine’s disappearance indeed. Scotland Yard couldn’t care less. Madeleine McCann, the perfect fishing lure. Such a clever game.

  33. This isn’t about a missing girl. As every reasonable person can verify that she’s most likely dead, for sure the British and Portuguese police know. The McCanns are either being used or they pose a threat. A deal perhaps. Higher interests and an American driving force. Just brainstorming.

Also, it seems the situation is getting of hand and becoming uncontrollable.

To me it seems the McCanns are far too confident that they’ll get away with it (beside, no body no crime).

They fear public opinion and therefore their remaining children.

In the meantime, for more than six years, the world is overdosed and brainwashed with Eeyore’s white bottoms with a floral pattern and a frill at the end, and a short-sleeved pink top. Backed up by Jane Tanner’s sighting, as far as a man carrying a child and the pyjama bottoms is concerned.

It is almost as if we had to look for Eeyore pyjamas instead of a real, living and findable little girl. http://gerrymccannsblogs.info/2009/03/message-from-gerry-and-kate-2/

Mathew Oldfield, the most malleable of the group ("get down to reception and see what’s happening with the police!") and Jane Tanner, the most vulnerable, become the foundations of the fairy story. As always Kate & Gerry McCann work from behind the scenes.

The telephone rang at around 11pm [03 May] at Trish Cameron's home near Glasgow. She picked it up to hear the voice of her younger brother. "He was distraught, breaking his heart," Mrs Cameron said. "He said: 'Madeleine's been abducted, she's been abducted.'

...the little girl they had left asleep in her white pyjamas, had disappeared.

Ms Renwick described the missing girl as a "very pretty, very blonde three-year-old". Madeline was said to have been wearing white pyjamas when she went missing.

She is not certain, but has the impression a design on the pyjamas, possibly a floral pattern, but she is not certain.

As regards these details, she does not know what Madeleine was wearing at the moment of her disappearance, because she did not talk to anyone about this. As she concerns the man she saw, she only spoke to Gerald about this, not entering into details, and to the police.

Reply “Oh he was just, well obviously, obviously distraught. And I think it was quite hard for me to be saying at that, you know, looking in his face and to be explaining what I’d seen, at that point was quite hard because, you know, Gerry was obviously standing there, I don’t know whether, and you sort of think ‘Oh God, here’s me, if I’d tried to stop them this wouldn’t have happened’ sort of thing.

I think, just going back a bit, over again, this is something, I think when I realised the true significance of what I’d seen as well was almost like a couple of days afterwards when, erm, erm, I was talking to Fi about the pyjamas, because again it seems madness now why I hadn’t asked Kate and Gerry before this what the pyjamas were like, but it’s all sort of rha rha, you know, so I didn’t know what, what Madeleine’s pyjamas were before this. And I’d actually read in a paper that they were white, it was in the Telegraph, I think it was the day afterwards Dianne had bought a Telegraph paper and in there it was saying she was wearing plain white pyjamas, so I think when I read that I almost thought ‘Oh maybe I have got it wrong’, you know, because I’d, out of everything, I thought ‘Oh they weren’t just plain white’, I thought they had got some sort of thing on it. So I think it might have actually been the next morning, which would probably be the Saturday morning, I think I said something to, about oh, to Fi ‘Oh what were the pyjamas like’ and she actually described the pyjamas and she sort of said ‘Oh no that is what they were like’. And that was, I think that was almost the moment when I couldn’t convince myself anymore that it wasn’t that, you know.

“With, with a turn up, and the turn up I mean I can’t stress this enough, that is the bit that makes me think so much that it is the same pyjamas.”

“Okay, so you think it was pink but you accept that it may not have been, the colour may have been distorted or it might have been such the power of suggestion I suppose.”
Jane Tanner: “That could have been that for me because the pyjamas I really tried to, it was in the interview the next day when they really pushed me you know I think you call it cognitive interview or whatever, really pushed me to get an idea of you know more details about the person and it was then that you know sort of the description of the pyjamas was more in my head than I’d initial, it was mainly the feet as an initial thing.

“Yes. I think the point they’re trying to make is that you had no knowledge of what Madeleine was supposed to have been wearing when you gave that description”?
Reply “No I think, no because when, I wasn’t there at the table when Kate gave a you know, I think Kate gave everybody else, when she came, you know when everyone was looking for her, they had a description of what to look for but I wasn’t, I was in the room at that point so no I definitely didn’t know what she’d, and I’d never seen her in pyjamas, I’ve never seen Madeleine in pyjamas at home and or anywhere so”.

RECORD OF TAPE RECORDED INTERVIEW DAVID PAYNE

you know I can't remember exactly what, what you know the night attire, what the children were wearing but white was the predominant err colour

And really didn’t think twice about it at the time and that’s why it wasn’t mentioned then. But she [Jane Tanner] definitely mentioned it to me you know after Madeleine had been abducted and you know on the, the following day before she’d actually mentioned it to Kate and there was a, a newspaper report, I think it was in the Telegraph err certainly one of the newspapers anyway, that was sort of describing err Madeleine’s pyjamas and, and err Jane said that’s not right, how did they get that, well she said you know, that in, I don’t know how they get that information anyway, my recollections were this was what she was wearing and described it you know differently you know to what the, the, the press had, and that was before she’d even seen Kate so you know, the strength of that argument is just absolutely overwhelming, you know given the time frame err you know of when Madeleine must have gone, gone, that you know and for her to have described in detail the pull ups at the bottom of the pyjamas err you know the colours, you know and the timing is just, you know well, so.

I ran out into the car park of our holiday apartment, flying from end to end, yelling desperately: 'Madeleine! Madeleine!' It was so cold and so windy. I kept picturing her in her short-sleeved Marks & Spencer Eeyore pyjamas and feeling how chilled she would be.

In book Madeleine by Kate McCann.

"The police did not appear to feel that Jane’s sighting in Rua Dr Agostinho da Silva and the man and child reported by the Irish holidaymakers in Rua da Escola Primaria were related. They seem to have concluded that these were in all likelihood two different men carrying two different children (if, they implied, these two men actually existed at all). The only reason for their skepticism appeared to be an unexplained time lapse between the two sightings. They didn’t dovetail perfectly. To me, the similarities seem far more significant than any discrepancy in timing".

"(…remember – Jane’s description had not been released to the public before the Irish witnesses made their statements), I am staggered by how alike they are, almost identical in parts.

    May 16, 2011

The only other unexplained detail I remember from that morning was a large, brown stain I noticed on Madeleine's pink Eeyore pyjama top. It looked like a tea stain.

    Interview McCanns in the Netherlands

    At the 1:19 mark

Question: He kept the child in his arms?

Kate McCann answers: He was carrying the child [Gerry tries to interrupt] across his arms, like this. You would think he might carry the child ... the shoulder, but he was carrying the child like this.

Gerry McCann: Jane didn’t know what Madeleine was wearing ...
She also described the pyjamas, ... remarkably similar... and she didn’t know that, and another really key thing is, later on that evening, probably about forty minutes later, an Irish family saw a man and they gave an almost identical description of the man and the child.

    ANOTHER STORY
    By Dr Martin Roberts

But whoever it was that members of the Smith family actually saw being carried, it could not have been Madeleine McCann in her Eeyore pyjamas. The child seen by Aoife Smith was said to have been wearing a long-sleeved top. If one is prepared to accept that Jane Tanner can discern the colour of a garment from some distance away, in the dark, when she cannot even see the item in question, then it is even more reasonable to accept the accuracy of Aoife Smith's close-up description.

    By Dr Martin Roberts

Kate's transient preoccupation with those Eeyore pyjamas may have been indicative of nothing more than a concern for 'keeping up appearances,

And then, irony of ironies, with Kate having made a special point of washing out a seemingly innocuous stain, the pyjamas are abducted, never to be seen again.

    NO WAY OUT

He could not, therefore did not, exit the apartment with a child in his arms in the two or three minutes between Gerry McCann's last 'check' on the children and Jane Tanner's 'sighting'. Nor did he leave the apartment afterwards, carrying Madeleine past the Smiths. The child they witnessed was wearing the wrong pyjamas. And since the intending abductor was not discovered inside the apartment subsequently then he was not there at all.

  66. The McCanns altered the Smith sighting carrying style so as to match that of the Tanner sighting, in a McCann made reconstruction aired only a few days after Amaral's (in which he included the Smith sighting).

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=na4aBr5PTYY
from 6:36: watch "Smith" man carrying a child horizontally across his arms.

Did the McCanns also alter the pyjamas style so as to discredit the Smith sighting (girl in white, long-sleeved, pyjamas) as soon as they became aware of Jane Tanner’s sighting early morning May 4, after they had already texted and phoned family and friends.

Gerry knew that he was seen by the Smith family.

Jane, unknowingly at that time, gave Gerry McCann a perfect alibi. Just one small problem, the pyjamas.

If not, then who is that girl in white long-sleeved pyjamas in BBC1 documentary, October 14, 2013?

  70. I concur.

The only thing that was in place between finding Madeleine dead, or her being killed by one of the nine (my money is on Kate) was the arrangement for damage limitation, orchestrated from the UK.

Hence all the deleted phone calls.

Because a plan had to be in place. Not even scumbags like the McCanns would have tried to pull such a stunt without the backing of someone that wielded a great deal of influence.

Payne apart, as far as we know, the rest of the tapas were just normal people, and as such, would they have listened to Gerry McCann, if he alone had said: gather round kiddywinks, I've got a plan.

And was it just a threat to their relative careers (child neglect, if indeed is was a case of that) that made them go along with what at the time, must have seemed like a pretty harebrained and drastic solution?

As we have said since day one, discover the "why" and you would probably discover the truth of it all.

    REQUEST

We request the examination of the samples collected from the garden wall with the aim of carrying out the 'search and identification of eventual fibres and their comparison with the two parts of the pyjamas similar to those the girl was wearing when she disappeared'

    ...

    CONCLUSION

The analysis of the samples collected from the garden wall of the apartment of the OC yielded the following results:

    - No synthetic fibres compatible with the fibres received for comparison from the pyjamas were found.

    - Numerous white cotton fibres were found. However, this result should not be considered to be significant, given that according to studies of distribution and persistence of textile fibres it should always be possible to find fibres of different types and colours on any surface, white cotton fibres being very common and without discriminatory parameters.

    ----------------------------------

Numerous white cotton fibres were found.

Perhaps this result could be considered to be significant, if Madeleine was not wearing the Eeyore pyjamas when she disappeard.

    ----------------------------------

She was wearing light trousers, white or light pink, that may have been pyjamas. She does not remember if they were patterned as it was dark. The material was lightweight/thin and could have been cotton.

I shall be moving house shortly? (1 to 3 months?)

I'm going to take a bungalow in a semi-rural situation. My own front door at last.

It's nice enough here, but it is like living in a goldfish bowl. Even though there are only six apartments, and three of those are empty!

AS I say, a semi-rural situation with a decent back garden, with only trees and fields beyond.

    This sounds awfully familiar.

I seem to recall someone from Brazil? writing something very similar a few years back.

  109. Good Morning Maren

I don't know what is going on my lovely, not with a few die-hard pros I don't.

The consensus with a diminishing few, seems to have gone from a Redwood "Trap/ploy" to "we can't know what they are doing" the cops that is.

There's nowt so queer as folk, as we say oop north.

To wander off topic, but staying with queer folk, or should that be queer suppliers?

To facilitate my move, I ordered, (online) from the same company, on the same order, at the same time, two rolls of bubble wrap and some packaging tape.

Via carrier, I received one roll on Wednesday, one roll on Thursday, and the tape through the post. Work that one out!

You may think it a funny thing to mention, but to me it was profound. It assailed my logical mind if you will.

And of moving, I have a question. Where does it all come from?

Stuff, I'm talking about. Stuff everywhere. More stuff than you can shake the proverbial stick at.

So as you might guess, I am busy, busy, busy, packing stuff up. I am only moving three miles, but three or three hundred, the packing remains the same.

Coming back to the case, I note that a majority of my "Dear fans" are even cooler towards me than they were previously. At least I didn't say:

    I FUCKING TOLD YOU SO!

So my Darling, my internet activity, and my responses to your dear self, might be somewhat sporadic for the near future.

More tea, a quick look round twitter, and then back to the grind.

The truth about the McCanns' lie mccannfiles

    By Nigel Moore
    17 June 2014

Yesterday, outside the Palace of Justice, in Lisbon, following the postponement of court proceedings, the 'furious' McCanns raged:

Gerry McCann: "This is the fourth time that this has happened, when we've travelled to Portugal."

Kate McCann: "...this has happened now about four times, as Gerry said this can't be seen as anything but blatant and cynical."

    ...

So the accusation that Gonçalo Amaral has manipulated the postponement of the trial for the 'FOURTH time' is a blatant and cynical lie by the McCanns, lapped up without question by the mainstream media.

The truth is, this is the FIRST time (get that, Mr O'Shea?) that a decision by Gonçalo Amaral has directly affected the proceedings.

But then, why tell the truth when you can sell stories?

Those "secret" medical records and, as far as I know, the McCanns’ total lack of concern for Madeleine’s health since her disappearance; it’s all so strange.

I know it borders speculation, but then why all the excessive emphasis on beautiful, bright, funny, caring and special? It almost sounds like a confession, unnatural anyway, and it doesn’t serve any larger purpose. Well, it could be cultural difference, although I doubt it.

I do not blame God for Madeleine’s abduction. – Kate McCann in "Madeleine"

    caption photo:
McCann family handout photo taken at 2.29pm on May 3 - the day Madeleine McCann (right) went missing

Being anything but a shadow expert and not knowing the first thing about photoshop techniques, I always found that Gerry looks alienated in that photo as if he’s not part of the overall picture, which could also be the case without photoshop of course.

But what I do see in that photo is that Amelie is wearing a peach-coloured smock top, not Madeleine as Kate McCann stated in her account of the truth.

Amelie and Madeleine, same clothing size? (Eeyore pyjamas spring to mind)

From "Madeleine" by Kate McCann, page 65/66

Some images are etched for all time on my brain. Madeleine that lunchtime is one of them. She was wearing an outfit I’d bought especially for her holiday: a peach-coloured smock top from Gap and some white broderie-anglaise shorts from Monsoon – a small extravagance, perhaps, but I’d pictured how lovely she would look in them and I’d been right.

At the Toddler Club near the Tapas restaurant Fiona collected Lily and headed back to her flat. Madeleine and I met up with Sean, Amelie and Gerry and returned to ours for lunch. As the children were getting quite restless in the apartment we decided to get them out in the fresh air before the afternoon’s activities. We went to the play area, which was such a hit with our three that they never seemed to get fed up with it. We then sat round the toddler pool for a while, dipping our feet in, and I took what has turned out to be my last photograph to date of Madeleine. Heartbreaking as it is to look at it for me now, it encapsulates the essence of Madeleine: so beautiful and so happy.

Madeleine: so beautiful and so happy, but not wearing her peach-coloured smock top (from Gap).

    SMITH SIGHTING

31 A family of 7 encounter a man carrying a child while going home from a pub at 22:00 on May 3rd.
32 The child is of Madeleine’s age and height and resembles Madeleine
33 The man is of the same height, has the same hair and general appearance of Gerry McCann
34 Mr Smith is 60-80 % certain that the person they saw was Gerry McCann
35 Aoife Smith describes the pants of the man as having buttons as ornaments
36 Gerry McCann is photographed once as owning such pants
37 The time of the encounter is the exact same time as the alleged detection of the disappearance although latter is not corroborated by independent witnesses
38 The sighting – although reported once in an irish paper – is never picked up by british media or the McCanns although it would have been the best confirmation for an abduction.
39 Only two years later the Smith sighting becomes part of their “documentary” although the key points get changed to fit the Tanner sighting
40 Pressure put on the PJ to highlight the Tanner sighting came at exactly the same time as the Smith family were being brought back to Portugal to go over the sighting in more detail
41 The sighting was in a different part of town from the Tanner sighting
42 The carrying style was completely different to that of the Tanner sighting
43 The man was heading in a completely different direction from the Tanner sighting
44 There was a time difference of 45 minutes between both sightings
45 Goncalo Amaral was removed from the case just when he tried to get the Smiths to Portugal again
46 Brian Kennedy contacted the Smiths to get them to take part in creating a photofit.
47 No innocent person ever came forward regarding the sighting
48 The child was carried without a blanket despite the cold night

    SC: Ah ha.

DCF: And I know that before we begin the questioning, that you showed some concern about the truthful recording of the facts and that they could have had some distortions by what you have read about the event.

    SC: Yes.

DCF: Therefore what we have agreed to do is to read your statement and put the facts together.

When I crossed the road outside the MW reception I remember there were cars parked, I remember taking some time to see if I could cross the road because there were cars parked to my left and I was carrying I****.

Quando atravessei a estrada no exterior da recepção lembro-me de haver carros estacionados, recordo-me de levar algum tempo a verificar se podia atravessar porque estavam carros estacionados à minha esquerda e eu carregava a Isabella nos braços.

in the arms (nos braços), lost in translation from English to Portuguese, just the way the Portuguese describe it or deleted from the original English version?

Nonsense, it's Matthew Oldfield on the left and Russel O’Brien on the right.

It could be Gerry’s handwriting, but if so there could also be an explanation. Gerry took that girl together with Madeleine to the crèche, just to make friends. I don’t think Madeleine was an easy child, but that’s only based on intuition, tha knows.

I don’t agree with the falsified crèche records and the pre-planned theory as I’ve seen not one single proof of that, but then I haven’t read everything, not by a long chalk. The only proven liar in black and white is Kate McCann having it down on paper in her book.

    (w_nicht always makes me smile)

As for the Murat thing (Bennett’s obsession and main objective), nothing to do with the disappearance of Madeleine McCann, separate issues I think, but an issue nevertheless.

Only my opinion: M died due to Kate’s action. Gerry is the abductor. The abduction was a one-man’s action, because, I think, no one is willing to take such risk, unless that person(s) contributed to Madeleine’s death (based on my assumption it has to do with her health and all those medics being present there and medics prior to that holiday. What’s in her medical records?

Any helper had/has vested interests. The question is what interests. Is there a common theme?

Summers's interviews on this well publicised theory, published by two reputable national newspapers last week, brim with weasel words. "The story ends with a question mark," says Summers darkly. No it doesn't.

    Normally no I wouldn't.
I'm no wonk when it comes to the Pulitzer, but from what I have learned of late, it could be held in the same esteem as the Nobel Peace Prize.

And t'other thing, interesting shall we say?

But who is this man? What a writer!

I have saved all that is worthy from the comments, whether I do anything with it, I don't know? But no matter what, it's classic stuff.

It's a good job I get the emails Chuck, because some of this stuff your finding is priceless.

Not least the last JG thing, it stopped me looking foolish. Thank you.

You can't have people like this in the Netherlands surely? It has to be an English thing?

Maybe failure is due to too many comments Maren? Time perhaps to set up a new dump. In fact I'll do that now.
