I have family members who pay an arm and a leg for medication that they require to stay alive. It is outrageous that drug companies feel they can put a price on human life. Worse yet, is the fact that they actually do this. Some medication here can cost the person more than a thousand dollars a day! These people are truly paying to stay alive and that cost is one thousand dollars for every sunrise they see. HH
That's a wicked price H. The most anybody would have to pay here is fifteen bucks per prescription irrespective of the true cost of the meds. It's a great comfort to a lot of folk, and you must remember how we got here, it's a dirty word in America, it's called SOCIALISM. We may not have the perfect system by a long way but for the most part the one thing we haven't lost is our humanity. I'm just back from a private consultation, (cost unknown) seems like I'm not going to die just yet but the specialist wants a new blood test, I had the choice of there and then (done privately) five hundred dollars or through the state health system, takes a couple of days. (free)
